Production Guild Membership Categories and Grades
Membership grades for full membership category indicates that the individual has completed at least three projects in their applicable category for at least three different senior practitioners.
Retired membership covers all categories within membership and is offered to Production Guild members on retirement.
Honorary membership can be applied to both members and non members but must be proposed by a member. The proposal is then put to the Board of Management for approval. Appointment of Honorary membership is at The Board of Managements discretion.
Overseas membership applies to all members residing outside of UK and honours all services of full membership with the exception of a listing on The Availability List.
Supplementary membership covers those who do not have enough experience to join as a full Guild member but have adequate experience to work in a Production, Accounts, Locations, ADs department. Once accepted by the Membership Committee they are added to the list of names held by the secretariat and provided to existing members when looking for assistants. After completing three films satisfactorily with three different senior practicioners they are then expected to apply for full membership. The maximum period for supplementary membership is three years.
