Foregoing a promising career as a lookalike for Al Murray and Winston Churchill, I caught the bug back in 1994 and haven't been able to get out since. Starting as an assistant accountant on "Just William" for TV back in 1994 I have slowly climbed up the career ladder through TV and into films. I have worked on a number of films including "Derailed", "Fred Claus" and the musical "Nine" as the Financial Controller and at present am working with the Narnia Franchise on "Voyage of the Dawn Treader". Championing the cause for the UK Accountant and the younger members of the Guild, I believe that we produce some of the finest accounts people in the business. Married with twins you'll find me every other Saturday trying to persuade my boys that there is really only one football team in London....Barnet !

I started my career in the film industry in January 1985 on "Revolution" (Al Pacino) having worked in the Hotel & Catering industry at various management levels since leaving catering college in 1977. I worked as an Assistant Accountant for the next four years on movies, notably "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", and TV shows before taking my first job as a Production Accountant in late 1988. In my early years I worked on low budget features and TV shows until in 1994 Working Title Films asked me to be the Accountant on Lawrence Kasdan's "French Kiss" (Meg Ryan). The film was my first big budget movie and from pre-production to delivery was a real learning curve, however with the support of Charlie Okun (Producer) it became one of my favourite working experiences. In 1996 I worked for six months at Working Title as a Production Executive, but felt that the job required more production experience, so chose to return to production accounting. There followed the fondly remembered "Hallmark" years (96-99) spent working on various big budget mini-series. In 2000 Working Title, once again, asked me to work for them on "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" (Nicolas Cage). Since 2001 I've been steadily employed on movies such as "The Hours" for Paramount, and more recently for Universal on "The Bourne Ultimatum, "The Wolf Man" and the yet to be released "Your Highness". Currently, I'm working for Warner Bros. on a space movie entitled "Gravity". I've been a UK Production Guild member since 1990, serving on the Guild's Board since 2007.
